I Carabinieri del Nucleo Operativo Radiomobile di Savigliano hanno posto fine ad un’estorsione che nel corso di due anni ha fruttato ai criminali oltre 18.000 euro.
«Si è trattato di un’estorsione “seria” – dice il capitano Tommaso Gioffreda – fatta per motivi sessuali e di cui è stato vittima un cittadino saviglianese. Su quest’ultimo manteniamo il più stretto riserbo».
I fatti. Le indagini erano iniziate a febbraio del 2011, quando la vittima si era presentata ai Carabinieri per denunciare frequenti minacce ed estorsioni: subito dopo, in flagranza di reato, venne arrestato Antonio Zavaglia, 49enne saviglianese. Ma anche dal carcere quest’ultimo continuava a mandare lettere minacciose alla vittima «tramite un “cavallo” di ritorno – spiega il capitano Gioffreda – ovvero un altro saviglianese, il 30enne Fabio Plaia».
